I am needing a new logo to promote our non-profit organization in India. We are called 'Aatma Vikas' which is Hindi for Self Progress. We operate technical training centers in rural and urban areas. I don't want to direct creativity too much, but here are the ideas I'm interested in seeing implemented:

- Logo that promotes upward mobility, maybe with an arrow, a hand, some way of showing that this is improving the lives of those
- Logo that has an 'Indian' type feel, either with shapes or font
- Logo that uses colors that show an Indian theme - tumeric yellow, safron green, bright bold oranges/reds
- Logo that uses colors that fade/shade, as I believe these often look more eye-catching
- Logo can also incorporate the translated phrase 'Self Progress' - IE - Aatma Vikas
Hindi for Self-Progress
- Logo that has a complementary theme to the CICM logo attached, as that is our main partner organization
- Logo that has researched other leading international development NGOs to understand what donors would find appealing (Acumen Fund, World Vision, Technoserve, Hope International, World Relief).

Logo should be warm and should draw you in, compel you to learn more about the organization - it shouldn't be cold, one dimensional, or too business looking. Be creative, all caps, all undercase, an image/icon drawn into/around the text, anything that you think reflects our work and focus. I know this is all a little vague, but please direct questions for clarification to me.

Number 93 - Very creative, and I like it, the font is just a little too whimsical/artsy, but if you can tone it down a bit, maybe find something a little more 'Indian', I like that the text makes a shape, like the shading, the sun in the corner, and the SELF PROGRESS banner at the bottom. Thanks. (There are only 2 hours left till deadline).

Commharm - Just a day left, I'm making my final decision. Could you add SELF PROGRESS to the Number 10 logo you did? Maybe SELF is above Aatma and PROGRESS is below Vikas, just a thought. Thanks!

m2ny1981 - Great work, probably my favorite so far! Can you add the word Vikas below in an option?

Shufong - Very nice - I like this design too. Could you look at maybe a darker red (less purple), maybe one option with a green?
Looks like the sides kind of abruptly get cut off though. What about adding a little 'logo/icon' in the space before the Vikas on lower left? Maybe like a few leaves, or a tree, or a fire/flame - something that demonstrates growth (not flower, since text looks like India font, but could also thought to be groovy/70's font). Or a Indian looking profile/silhouette/character.

19 - I can't put my finger on it, I just don't feel that this logo is memorable/unique enough to convey our work.

20 - You spelled Aatma wrong. Could you try with Green/Orange/Red and Self Progress underneath Aatma Vikas?

7 and 8 - I don't think that 7 fits with what I'm trying to convey as an organization, but a nice sharp logo nonetheless. I do like 8, as I think thats the most creative way I've seen to merge the A and V, in a way that looks good. Could you do that with an orange and red matching the attached CICM logo, and add Self Progress below it? Thanks.

36 and 37 - Thanks, I do like the design and simplicity of font you chose. However, I don't see much of an 'Indian' component to the colors or font. The black and white actually looks better to me than the blue and green. I'll get back to you if I have any constructive feedback for changes. Thanks.

31 - I like the creativity, but it looks like an N, trying to merge the A and V.

32 - Font is great, design is good, but looks a little too much like a ying-yang symbol, maybe tweak it a little.

Bandarajmn - Not wild about the yellow and purple, and probably would not like to have Technical Training Center in logo. The logo is interesting, but I'd like something a little more professional looking.

Baiticheramzi19 - Looks professional, but a little too 'alien' and not as warm, welcoming for a group trying to take people out of poverty. Needs to be a warmer design/font/feel.
