  Wow, what can I say....I don't even know if to smile or to grin...as you said yourself this time your luck played a much more significant role than your talent :) (no offence) Congratulations !!!
  No offence CH, but you mentioned at the beginning that the logo should be fancy, and trust me this one isn't close to be fancy...in my opinion you paid to much and took a decision in a rush...So, I'm a bit disappointed just from the designers point of view that a Medical Center will have such a "not beautiful" and expensive logo :)
