Contest Brief

I require a logo that can be used in print, for a website banner, signage. it is for a conference. The text is:

2013 AAIR Annual Forum
Exploring New Shores: Insights into Institutional Research
11 - 13 November 2013
Rendezvous Hotel Perth, Western Australia
www.aair.org.au

I require a graphic created based in the theme "Exploring New Shores: Insights into Institutional Research", that says what this is about. It needs to be set with the text as I've included above.

The conference is being held in Scarborough, a coastal suburb of Perth - therefore beach themes of greens, blues and yellows may be suitable. You must also incorporate the attached AAIR Logo somewhere in the logo design.

Hello! Could you please critique my entry (#2)? Specifically, parts you like or do not like?

Also, do you have a .ai or .eps version of your logo? I can get a better print quality for you from a vector based logo versus the .jpg you submitted. Thanks!
