Our company sells Catholic tours (more commonly known as Pilgrimages) to significant Christian holy sites such as Israel, Europe and more. See our website at http://www.pilgrimage.ph rnrnWe need a new logo for the company since we're rebranding ourselves as "The Pilgrims' Center"rnrnIdeally the theme of the logo needs to connote Catholic Faith and Pilgrimages/Spiritual Journeys. rnrnThe only requirement is for the logo to have "The Pilgrims' Center" as main text/brand. Our previous logo was in Blue although this is not strictly necessary for the new one. All other design considerations are free.rnrnI don't want to give too strict design requirements so you can be as creative as you'd like.rnrnTo give you inspiration, here's a great quote about the meaning and significance of Pilgrimages (it's not just any kind of travel):rnrnA pilgrimage is a journey, assigned by God.rnIt brings the pilgrim not only to a physical place but out of himself, and into the presence of god. All else falls away.rnThere is only the child, his Father, and eternity...rnrnIn ancient times, pilgrimages were made to holy places. As an act of faith, or to renew the relationship they once had with God, or to gain one that others seemed to have, pilgrims journeyed to the traditional sites of the birth, death, and resurrection of Jesus. If that was impossible, they traveled to a shrine or a great cathedral. It might take many days or even weeks to get there, but the distance did not matter; the journey itself was as important as the destination. For it was a preparation and a purification.rnrnA pilgrimage is a prayer, containing all dimensions of human activity - physical, spiritual, and emotional. What motivates someone to make a pilgrimage? Often, it is a sense of life being a dead end, or that the world has become totally absurd, or that he is simply 'sick and tired of everything.' Sometimes this is combined with anrnawareness that God is calling him in a new direction, and that he desires to create a new communication between himself and God.rn

Because for you the intention and message of the logo is important, an explanation: I used the flying dove as a Symbol both for the travelling itself as well as for the holy ghost, which may come down as the spiritual aim of the travel. Hope you like it.

  Hi sophialotus, so far your entry is one of the best we\'ve liked, good job! We like how it connotes the abstract path and journey of pilgrimage.
  
  As a suggestion, could you make similar versions but probably with less colors? The logo may end up quite small in some of our materials and even black and white in our newspaper ads, so a simpler color palette would work better to be safe.

  Hello, thank for the compliments; you were right. I adjusted the colors and simplified the design. Please kindly find number 43 (please ignore 42 accidentally submitted twice) and 44. I have appended a small grayscale version as well. Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

Obvious thing to do fellas is use a plane as cross.

  Hi Redhotfusion, I do agree that using the plane as a cross would be the most obvious way to approach it. However, we don\'t necessarily want to feel extremely commercial. As noted in the brief, the pilgrimage is a spiritual journey more than just any sort of travel, we want to convey that sort of sincerity and significance in the logo as well. Sir do u need any kind of images also like of a Cross or Holy Family.. Or just a Logo Kinda written and graphical design??

  Hi Melvin, I think a Cross would be appropriate, not a Holy Family. A written logo with graphic design can still work, however the challenge is that it should still connote Catholic Faith and Travel.
