Contest Brief

Compare the following two sites:

The first site (dev2) is what the original template looks like.
The second site is the same thing, but with our own logo and text.

We are unhappy with the look of our logo and banner text in this template, and want them to be adapted to fit better in the website template.

The main issues, as we see it, are:
1. The Whiterocktek logo coloring is not ideal; we are thinking that maybe it should be more white with grey shading rather than grey with white shading, but you are the expert so use your judgement.
2. We noticed that the Whiterocktek logo was copied from some other site, so it would be good to re-do it to be original and copyright-able.
3. If you think you can create a logo that is entirely different and can just as well or better represent "White Rock" + Tek (professional technical services), feel free to submit a redesigned logo.
4. The logo text should look more like the logo text of the original template, via-a-vis font, coloring, shading
5. Size / location in relation to the menu items does not look nearly as good as the original template
6. Also, possibly consider the following, regarding the logo text (ultimately, we want whatever looks the best, so use your best judgement):
1. Dropping the ".com"
2. Separating the words "whitrocktek", "whitrock tek", "white rock tek"
3. Using capitalized words, or maybe all caps
7. All work must be original work by you and not use copyrighted or otherwise restricted material or sources
8. The final result will include the following:
1. Original Adobe .ai file, including any required fonts
2. Several different sized transparent .png files - we will specify after awarding, but expect about 10 - 20 different sizes
3. Html and css files that shows what the final result will look like when embedded into the site. Just copy and paste the top banner of the current site as a starting point, and modify the html/css as required to make it look like it should; be sure to clearly indicate which are the important parts of the html/css that were changed or added to make it look that way.
