Contest Brief

Hi there,

I am looking for a designer who can bring my sketches to life, creating cool large scale art print for children's rooms.
Starting with an illustration of:

GIRL & BEAR (a sweet little girl, either holding hands with, or riding, a large grizzly bear).

The girl: she represents my daughter (4yrs old), who is very pretty, girlie and sweet. Id like her to be wearing a pretty dress or a ballerina tutu, with a little princess crown. However, she is also kind, sassy and very fearless (so she should not appear afraid of the bear, she is in fact the boss of the pair and his best friend!)

The bear: should be much larger. He represents my son (who we call 'bear') who is very big but very mischievous and gentle. Id like him to look reasonably realistic, but with a gentle face, not too fierce that it would frighten a child!

Style: My preferred style is very modern, clean, a little whimsical or humorous, quite monochromatic (just hints of pale colour/tints/washes for accents or the background). I don't want the image to be too childish or cartoonish please.

Colour: Either just Black & white, or black, white, grey, pale pink, pale bluey tones if you choose.

Size: I require high res digital finished art, high enough res to be used to print A1 posters. I may also use it online.

Ongoing: I have additional concepts and sketches that I would also like illustrated and brought to life, to be sold as a range of art for modern children's bedrooms. I would like to continue working with the winning designer on the entire range, at a competitive rate, if you are interested.

I have attached some of my sketches for ideas (I'm not great at drawing sorry!) and also some other images for direction of different styles and colour-ways I like. But id love to see you own unique styles and ideas too!

Good luck and thank you!
