Contest Brief

I have a book coming out and want a cover page. These are the specifications: please be creative and let yourself be free with the design.

industry: life coaching. how to set goals for how you want to experience life now, instead of only for a future and materialistic goal.

branding: fun, elegant and simple ( I don't want something serious although its a serious topic)

name of book: what about now.

tag line: 5 principles to having the life you want...a lot sooner than you think

What I want: I want an illustration that represents happiness today. this is tricky because Im not sure what that looks like exactly and want you to be creative in designing that. I have attached a few things to help you get an idea of the look and feel that i am looking for like my logo another persons book cover and the picture of myself that I will be using on my website. These are just for inspiration and direction. I need your input as the designer.

dimensions: 12xm x 19cm

Hi, if your publishing a book you will want to check that the winning entry has either copyright of images and illustrations used in the design or have purchased the appropriate licence from a stock image sight. Will save you from possible legal action down the line. By the way I'm not submitting an entry myself, I just saw your contest and thought I would mention this in case you hadn't thought about it.
