I am creating custom children's books. (Also if you are interested, for later, I need characters for my books).
(they will offer NOT ONLY name of child in the book, but also pictures of the child and in most books, the parent or parents)

Anyway, I need a background for my website.
The website will be 1366x768

Here are the books I will offer (after I customize them)
Alice in Wonderland
Pinocchio
Snow White and Cinderella
Jungle Book
Hunchback of Notre Dame
The Little Mermaid
The Wind in the Willows
Winnie the Pooh

Also take a look at the two covers that are attached. Those are covers of the 2 individual books I offer but will offer many more.

I need some background that relates to that? Maybe pictures of books with those titles and pictures on them? But, I don't want the graphic to be dark, I need to read the words that will be on the website. Or should it be in a box in the website and nothing in it just the picture? What is the best way to do it?
I was thinking the whole webpage, but is that a good idea?
Or maybe just banners?
I need your advice. So submit advice and your entry. I may award more than one.
Also if you are interested in making characters for my books, let me know. I will need characters in different positions and also background images. How much do you charge on average for a character in different positions and I am sure background images depend on complexity but a general amount, please (I won't hold you to it).

Hi CH, so entry #8 is the real entry, you can only pick one but if you like them all maybe we can talk about it. I make graphic designs for both websites and kids all the time. Entry #9 is just to show you that I can make any kind of children characters humans/animals in any kind of situation. So if you do need more Original backgrounds and characters I can make one background (pixel or vector) and two characters for you in 100USD.

You can tell me the specific requirements like which area you want the visuals to cover and I can design accordingly.
I have already designed the logo's for various websites and won enough designing competitions.

1366x768 is the screen area, but what is the safe area? Usually 960 pixels wide is the standard width for most modern web sites.

For example http://www.markroyko.com/sites/default/files/images/Blueprint%3A%20A%20CSS%20Framework%20%7C%20Spend%20your%20time%20innovating%2C%20not%20replicating_1264550179824.preview.png

The blue area is the background. It would be useful to see your site, if it already exists.

  I do not have site, yet, that is what this contest is about. The 960 is old, 1366 is new standard.

Please remember, the stories are before Disney but you cannot use Disney's pictures. Disney's pictures are still copyrighted.
