Hello Fellow Designers,

I am the author of a personal blog dedicated to mystery, mysticism and parapsychology. The Dragon Spirits are the core of my writings. As you can see on www.leretourdesdragons.com the digital art is used for the feature pictures of my blog posts.

I need you to complete my brand identity through the 2 projects of this contest: ONE logo and ONE custom digital illustration. I have a clear idea of the different elements that must constitute the two designs. Please consult the attached brief for the details before submitting an entry. Design inspirations are included in the brief.

The winner of the contest will win $C 100 and I will pay an additional sum ($C 50 to $C 100) for applying modifications and for the creation of versions (detailed in the brief).

I am looking for a creative and high quality concept based on my specifications.

The design will be used on numerous mediums: logo, business cards, marketing materials, landing webpages.

I would prefer to contract with someone enthusiastic to take on the task.

  I would like a new design of the dragon's head (not a plane face)
  If I am not satisfied of any entries for a new design of the dragon's head I will go for something like entries #10 or #6.

  1. To keep the current dragon's head design is not my first choice. Your entry #10 is very beautiful. I would like to consider an improved dragon's head sketch first.
  2. About the second part of the contest, the new design, here my comments:
  
  What I like:
  - the flat design in black or white and the textured design.
  - the dryad in the middle
  - the heart of the dryad
  - the roots
  
  What I am not sure:
  - the leafs
  
  What I dislike:
  - the dragon is like a skeleton, I'd rather a textured dragon like the suggestion in the brief
  - from the dragon's head to the root, it must be a plain dragon displayed as a crescent
  - in my draft the hatching must not be repeated, it was an awful representation of the body and the tail of the dragon.

Regarding the two first entries:
1. The different elements of my brief are only a canva. I need someone to design everything from scratch by following the requirements.
2. If I consider the two first entries as sketches, they don't respect the overall structure (the lion's head must be at the right of the roots. I don't want a dragonhead in the roots. The Venus flower must be in the middle of the roots. I don't want a tree of life as background of the logo).
3. The elements must be displayed accordingly.
