I need some corporate identity itens designed (business cards, wallpaper etc)

I would like to get the some corporate identity for my business - a local newspaper. In the attached files, I have made available some more information about the company, screenshots and our current logo.

I would like designs which are modern, yet conservative and sober, as it refers to a newspaper. The designs i need are for the following 3 itens:

Business cards
Powerpoint template
Desktop wallpaper

I want the business card to be printed on a non-glossy paper and I am not against slightly different formats such as rounded corners.

You must bear in mind that the business itself is brazilian and therefore the designs will need to involve some sort of portuguese, although given how simple the above is, it will be limited. I will help out on everything needed with the translations but slight amendments may be needed.

There may be additional bits and pieces for the future and the winner will have some preferential treatment to undertake the work.

I am happy to provide more information should the information made available be insufficient.

All files (in editable format) and copyright will be transferred to me upon award.

  Dont have anything in mind in particular. Blue blackground with some cool textures and lighting would more than do the trick for wallpaper. Maybe could be other colours (black, as you created, or white). As for the powerpoint, same applies. Something simple with modern lines, maybe some texturing (even a newspaper texture perhaps). The one you submitted is ok as a basic design.

  Hi Sasha, thanks for the changes. Only thing is I meant the name as in people's names not the business name. I actually preferred it with a slightly smaller font (off centre) for the AVS name as you had originally done. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

  Hi Shambayona. Sorry, I meant 18. 16 has an interesting use of circular shapes which does give it a good aspect but it is not in line with what we are looking for (modern, yet conservative and sober,)

  Hi joshua. Well, the only one that has a relevant symbol is the mountain one, the others are just random shapes. But the general comment about all of them is that they are rather simplistic and not in line with the professional image we are trying to convey. But thanks for sending your desigs!
