I need a nice demo of my program. Win the prize by playing a game similar to minecraft and making an art gallery made in 3dpl(my program which is similar to minecraft), even if you don't win, it should be fun.

    OK! I got up early and made the bug fix, I think it is fixed now, Please download 3dpl Beta 2.3 from https://github.com/amigojapan/3dpl/wiki/downloads and try it. I used a standard algorithm for generating Unique IDs. Also as you requested, I added a limited functionality for collision detection in the Object Editor, you can turn it on, it is a new option in the properties sheet. with this collision detection, it will only detect it when you go forward. and if you don't back up a little, you will be stuck in the place you collided, sorry, but that is the only kind of collision detection I could implement in this limited ammount of time before work. Also, if I may add a suggestion about your design, I liked your castle, and a castle is OK(if it is a view from the outside), but would prefer an outdoor city art scene like the one in this picture http://i.imgur.com/2RpYPpv.png

    Hi again, i have correct date and time on machine, i am using your latest program 2.2, yes the problem is the ID..., but it would be a pain to make let's say 1000 cubes and name each one..

    Hi, i tried to create a map with object editor, after 90-100 cubes it get's buggy, meaning if i try to delete a specific cube which was not placed where i wanted, if i delete it will delete more than 10-20 cubes around that cube, another problem is when u change a texture and use that in new cubes, the previous 5-15 cubes u made are changing in the new texture applied to new cube, another thing would be the xml file and open again for edits, if you save a large area of cubes some of the textures change their light ( like is having texture over texture). is almost imposible to make something creative with this bugs, maybe is just meOo, i am using windows7.

      I tried to reproduce the bug you report, but I was unable to do it, as you can see on this screenshot http://i.imgur.com/gyee3yW.png ,
      I drew more than 100 cubes of a few different textures, tried deelting them and still nothing seemed to change....
      I need some more feedback from you, first of all, which version of 3dpl are you using? some versions of 3dpl before Beta 2.2 still did not have a unique ID for each cube,

      so this could be the cause of your problem. Click on About to see what version of 3dpl you are uing. if it is 2.2, I have a couple more questions. Look at the unique ID, which I highlighted in the screenshot, it is close to the bottom of the properties sheet, check to see if the unique ID is changing after you add 100 cubes or not. the Unique ID is based on the date on the system, the current time(perhaps you are drawing so fast that I have to do it by milliseconds... this just occurred to me) and a random number from 0 to 1000000000 (all converted into hexadecimal values) Do you have the right date and time set on your computer?.
      Also, after you draw 100 cubes, and experience the problem can you then again, can you try this for me? draw new cubes, each time change the uniqueID to anything, lets say "a" "b" "c" and so on... and try to see if the problem persists....

    Also it would be nice if object editor could have camera collision to not go through cubes, only through empty space:D.

    Nice contest AmigoJP, i would love to participate in this contest.. but i would like to see the project guaranteed.
    Btw nice program, it's still in alpha stage as i see but have lot and lot of potential, i did found few bugs, if u create a big field of cubes and try to delete a cube, instead of deleting that cube it delete a large area of cubes surrounding that cube..:D, anyway if u make contest guaranteed i will make a nice "map like". Thanks

      The reason why I have no guaranteed the prize money is because I am affraid of many people joining not to do the job, but just to collect the prize money if I dont elect a winner.
