We are finishing the front of our house and are having difficulty with the design., We are doing exposed aggregate for the driveway with Sandblast concrete for the banding, stairs, porch and walkway. The main problem is the front of the house. We are widening our steps to 66" to line up with the front door. They will be in Sandblasted Concrete. I'll send you a picture of what they will look like.
Because of the grading there will need to be a step up somewhere between the stairs and the driveway.
We are looking for a clean lines and a modern look. We are also looking for low maintenance for the flowers, shrubs and trees etc. minimal needed (Not much of a green thumb.)
Attached is a line drawing with some measurements, an actual picture of the front of the house, and the idea of what the steps will look like. Please contact me for any other questions or measurements.
