Creative design elements for needed for a new website - goo.gl/aSpn2P

We are finishing a new website design but want it to 'stand out' more with some creative elements. I have attached an image of the new layout and circled the areas where we need changes. Not looking to copy exact elements from other sites, but need something that fits into the look of the site.

Area above header and top of footer region
* instead of the current straight lines, maybe something with some curves

Middle content region
* Circles can be made smaller and moved around as needed.
- Maybe a larger image on left side and images arranged randomly on right
- Maybe some type of blurred background image that goes full width and circles placed randomly on page.
