Contest Brief

A horror-themed illustration of a group of investigators entering an immense, brooding gothic mansion.

The setting is the 1920's, and the investigators may include a detective, elderly professor and lady singer.

HP Lovecraft influences will be a plus; as well as an inked comic-book style, particularly that of Mike Mignola.

Creativity and quality will be equally valued.

I have included reference images which convey the desired atmosphere and styles.
