My name is NR Gurney, and I am a UK based author, (also doing a day job.) I have just completed my 2nd book in a series called Green Mist Chronicles. The first book was called “Green Mist Rising” and can be found on [login to view URL]
I am now looking for a book cover and design I can use for the 2nd book - “Green Mist Singularity.” It also will be released on Amazon and Kindle, and as a Kindle Unlimited.
Basically it is a science fantasy book set in an alternative dimension. The story takes place in a world covered in Green Mist. It has a Celtic feel to it, and experiences near constant twilight. It features a country called Celtishia, which is a version of the British Isles with a land bridge uniting Wales and Ireland.
The book focusses around a female lead called Sarah Salter, who must not be revealed, except perhaps as a green or black silhouette. (She likes to dress in steam punk clothes.)
Extra (and not necessary essential) considerations may be that..
The villain of this story is a giant clockwork octopus, (who could also be shown as a silhouette or not at all.)
Readers of the book may notice a “steam punk feel” as it features a flying boat underneath a zeppelin (like you do.)
There is a website [login to view URL] and the book cover will be revealed there and on social media, (especially Instagram and Linked In)
The cover needs to be a “wrap around” for the hardback, and function as a straight image for the e-book. It must be original art work only, and should ideally attract readers from the science fantasy genre. It should also fit in with the previous book cover. (see below)

“This freelancer is truly awesome. She won a competition of 58 entries because she understood the brief to design my book, and matched it in with existing book in the series. Very flexible with alterations after awarding the prize and a joy to work with. ”
