We have a mid century modern home designed by an architect in the 1950's who studied under Frank Lloyd Wright. We are replacing the small porch over the front door and are looking for creative and bold designs to make the front of our house look better.

We will pay $100 for the best design and negotiate separately with the winner to more fully develop their idea.

We do not want to offer too much design direction to ensure that we get the most creative ideas, but we are not opposed to bold changes, nor simple solutions. We simply want the front of the house to look more appealing and in the spirit of the mid century modern design period.

I want to thank everyone who submitted. There were at least 15 designs we thought were fabulous. We have spent the evening trying to narrow it down and have decided to finally consider four (4) entries with our contractor. We will make a decision by Monday on the winner. Please know that many of you will hear from us again for paid work.

Have you got any blueprints of the design? Otherwise what you get will be a fantasy, impossible to construct correctly. You cannot judge the actual measurements based only on some photos. If you don't have any blueprints it would be best to measure the house roughly together with the openings, i.e. the doors and windows. And upload the measurements on a rough plan. We could guess the heights from the photos, but if you got at least one vertical measurement the design will have a chance to be plausible. As it is now, it is a waste of time and money.

The whole context ssytem is fake . First the start context to get your ideas and than in the pulish and make win one of their own idea . this way the money stay in their pocket wile they steal your creative ideas . ever wonder why you never win a context . and why they choose a design that akward !

I've just checked the images and I already have some nice ideas. I won't publish them for free, if you want something from a person who's working with architects and has a good experience in house designing, just hire me and tell me your budget . This is how it works for suck things. And by the way, some blueprints will be required.
