I need a cover for my novella called 'Home'

The story is about siblings estranged after trying to escape a sadistic and abusive mother and their journey in coming back together - home. The themes are: psychological ramifications of their treatment from their mother, unbreakable love of the siblings, anger, redemption, change and fear/hope for the future.

I don't think we should see faces - it's too literal. So I haven't sourced photos. The book is a straight drama, not a horror or thriller so blood/guts/demons won't work.

My thoughts were:
A door mat with 'HOME' written on it and distressed in someway to refer to the past.
A basement/under the stairs door with 'HOME' scratched into the wood.

I think above all it needs to be bold and simple - you guys are the creative ones so I am looking forward to seeing what you think!

The text needs to be clear in thumbnail and about 1600 x 2400 pixels in dimension.

Do you plan on publish this book in traditional way (printing), if yes, what dimensions it would be?
