Contest Brief

Our division ATHENAEUM EMPORIUM ™ House of De Mandeville, is being developed as an ultra luxury brand and multi level LUXURY GOODS retail, Lifestyle, information portal, not just a simple web site. We want the site to be a premium destination for individuals purchasing anything representing luxury goods or services availed or created anywhere around the globe. We are also an aggregator of Luxury Goods and Services” News organization and Broadcaster! We offer luxury goods and services to our clients after verification of quality, validation of durability under testing within our organization and through external laboratories we then add value added warranty and support services around some of those products extending their usable life often double that offered by manufacturers currently. We therefore make no apology for retail premium prices, we are not a discount portal, we are a value added portal therefore while we want the company represented as a Luxury Brand info itself because we do manufacture our own brands much the same as Louis Vuitton or others we are also a retailer of ALL luxury brands so our IDENTITY & LOGO must be no less important to a consumer, if only as a guarantee of quality and luxury, as any of the companies who’s brands are represented on our web site.

It will also be necessary to represent our company as a fully fledged advertising service provider because we produce commercials and product placement for all clients and broadcast them though our portal and on television in a variety of markets on our clients behalf in high definition (1080i 2k and 4k)! We represent diverse products from Louis Vuitton to Rolls Royce, Audi and other global luxury brand or their equivalents.

This competition is an interview, a process through which we can assess your skills, professionalism, core manners, communication skill in business English language, work ethics, time keeping, basic honesty and above all your design knowledge and language, color pallet and your grasp of what luxury is and who to represent it in graphic design language no matter the discipline selected. Therefore the fee offer is nominal one through which we are pay you to demonstrate your design resume here, and to showcase what you can do for our Company Idea Luxury branding, therefore if the though of the fee’s is the reason why you are here you would be missing the opportunity available to you by submitting your entry, therefore you should pursue $50 dollars elsewhere. We are not seeking EVERYONE just those ‘talented enough” to see the opportunity and present their skills with great promise!

This process and competition will allow us to view a visual assessment of the quality of your “core ideas" for our brand identity. At the end of the process we will determine which "Artisan’s” are candidate we will partner with and would not only win the competition but also proceed to contracted work through fulfillment of our stated goals in our clients interest here. We will also select our principle candidate’s who we will work with in the development of our own Corporate Identity and enhancement of our current logo and web site!     Please note also that the name Athenaeum has a bonded and cojonied 'ae' which must be siamese to gather expressing both "a" and "e" but as a single letter! This must be reflected in the design to be considered for the prize here!

    This is not a criticism of your design some or excellent! This is a critics of your inability to read the design brief successfully! Please revisit the brief, and understand this clearly! If you have not submitted a high definition 3D logo which includes our family crest at the center if your design you have not read the brief carefully enough!
