Domain Name: Tinnuts.net (oh yes, we are new and we don't even have the logo yet. A logo contest is in progress. So no need to try the URL)

TINNUTS = There Is Nothing New Under The Sun
Although it is very difficult to discover new things at this age, TINNUTS will not stop creation and will bring the market a surprise apparel.

Tinnuts is a brand of UNIQUE, KIDS, COLORFUL, FUN, OUTERWEAR, MIX OF WOVEN & KNIT

REQUIREMENT
*** PLEASE ONLY SUBMIT ONE ENTRY. IF THERE ARE MORE THAN ONE, THEN I WILL REJECT ALL YOUR ENTRIES. WITHDRAW THEN RESUBMIT IS ALWAYS WELCOME ***

1) rough sketch of your design with a brief description of the material. Please also tell me why your design is unique
2) it must be outerwear
3) this outerwear must make from knit (jersey knit fabric doesn’t count as knit) and fabric (jersey knit and woven are count as fabric) together. (Note. cuff and bottom rib on the jacket do not count as knit. In short as least half of a panel should be knit and vise versa)
4) it is for kids. (Well, at least it is safe for the kids to wear and will not affect their active daily life)

Any submission do not full fill ALL above requirement will be reject.

I will not rank and comment the design because it is about create a unique outwear that I had never see before.

Example 1
- 16gg knitted lace chinese gowns top with bottom half in satin dress.
- Unique: a knitted chinese gowns
REQ 1, 3, 4 pass (assume there is a rough sketch) but it is not a outerwear

Example 2
- round neck, long sleeves, 12gg cardigan. Front 3 color thick and thin stripe, left and right panel is not matching. Back in fine melange grey jersey fabric with vintage foil print. In addition, there is an OLED screen at the centre back to show his current heart rate. This article comes in 5 different color combo.
- Unique: colorful cardigan collection with OLED screen on back!

REQ 1, 2, 3 pass but with an OLED on the back will affect the kids active daily life and the most important is the battery, there are no space for the battery in kids wear.

Example 3
- a tuxedo suit in 14gg full cardigan knit with the collar in very fine satin and the pocket trim in leather
- Unique: a knitted tuxedo!

REQ 1, 2, 3, 4 Pass. OK this is a candidate

Example 4
- a over sized tuxedo shirt to wear as jacket with ruffle at CF in 9gg full cardigan (contrast color) The ruffle is dyed with water resistance and it can function as a bib.
- Unique: colorful tuxedo shirt

REQ 1, 2, 3, 4 Pass. OK this is a candidate

Example 5
- a baseball jacket. Front with a colorful unique print pattern in silk satin. Back, sleeves 12gg jersey knit.
- Unique: silk satin baseball jacket. very comfortable to wear.

REQ 1, 2, 3, 4 Pass. OK this is a candidate but I had saw this and own this. So most likely you are not going to win.

I hope you get my point. It need to be creative, unique, and wearable in daily life for a kids.

Actually this is only a test run to find out is there enough creative fashion designers in freelancer.com so I only request a rough sketch and brief description.
Your creation will NOT turn into real garment in this contest. However, if the result is good, then there will be a monthly contest coming and the winner’s design will turn into a real product.

I have some questions.
1) Is there any theme for the design like Sporty/ Festival/ Classical so far so on?
2) boys outfit or girls outfit?
3) Is pencil sketch allowed? if yes, how to define the fabric type in pencil sketch?
4) As this contest is a test run, will you guarantee the prize money?

  3) YES, pencil sketch allow. You can define the fabric type by text. If you have the skill you can sketch it out.

@design4u2 Yes, I just need one design. The 5 examples I gave is what design I consider as fulfil the requirement and what design is not. They are sort of a guideline.
It is online store, so basically to everywhere in the world.
The main purpose of this contest is for me to find out how many creative fashion designer here is freelancer.com If there are enough creative fashion designer here, then there will be similar contest held monthly. Please spread the word, this is just a rehearsal. :D
