Hiya,

I'm a programmer and I am putting together an open source project and I need a logo for the top banner of my website.

The unbranded website is http://triflejs.org. I'm just doing this in my spare time and its not for profit so I dont really want to spend a lot of money on it.

The theme for the logo is TRIFLE (see pic attached). A trifle is an English layered desert. Normally has 3 layers: 1) Pink/Red jelly at bottom, 2) Yellow custard in middle, 3) White cream on top. Sometimes its topped up with fruit such as strawberry or raspberry. You can pick the glass shape as U shape (as in picture) or V shape.

I want to avoid gradients as much as possible. I added a few examples of logos for similar projects. The colors for the website will be Primary: Pink/Red and Secondary:Yellow, to match the logo when it arrives, but I'll do this myself you only need to provide the logo.

Once I pick a logo, I'm happy to put a link to your website or social network page at the bottom of the page to say you designed it.

#38 is a bit untidy, the heart not so good..
#33 and #35 are great concepts, top of my list. #34 is hiding the logo so not so good.

Great work guys, I've rated all the entries to let you know which ones I like best so far. #11 is a great concept but the bottom layer of the trifle should be darkpink/red color (ie #ED002F or similar), brown makes it look like chocolate mousse which is a different dessert.

Low ratings: #15 is a good concept but thick lines to delineate borders would be much better, too different from toolset.png. #22 is a champagne glass, although the idea is good. #9 I like the logo but you're using gradients, also, would be best to keep cup border lines same thickness. #12, #13, #14 are using gradients, cup border should be plain color (white/grey/black - depends on background), #20 is good concept, but squiggly lines make it less professional.

I rejected a few, #7 and #8 because they are not following brief (photo instead of logo), #1 is also not following brief. #3 looks like child drawing, #4 and #6 are not following brief.
