WHO WE ARE
The Green Office Inc. ([login to view URL]) is an online retailer of eco-friendly office supplies to companies throughout the Continental US. The company is currently in its tenth year of operation and is undergoing a major transformation.

WHAT WE NEED:
If you look at our site, you may get the impression that the design hasn't been updated in the past six years. This is because the design hasn't been updated in the past six years. We have big long-term plans with the potential for regular design work, but our immediate need is to update our web site to reflect the level of expertise and professionalism that we provide our customers.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The site is already up and running, but we need to give it a major overhaul. We've already been meeting internally to craft up a creative brief which will help guide you through this project (along with our dedicated time of course). This contest will focus on redesigning ONLY the homepage. The winner will then be commissioned to work on the design of an additional 3-4 pages

UPDATE:
After reviewing a few of the early entries, I would suggest that designers refrain from using parallax (browsing by lengthy scrolling). Parallax is best used for presenting visual content that needs to be presented in a linear or chronological order (such as storytelling or educational purposes). It is in poor practice to use it for e-commerce where the user may have multiple directions that they would want to navigate.
