Contest Brief

We need some exceptional work done for a dashboard. This is the first page that a user lands on.
The challenge with a dashboard is that it should convey quite a bit of information but it should be very easy to follow and understand.
The Freelancer dashboard is a good example of a dashboard that works but I believe it can be done better.

Ureferjobs is a platform where people can refer "9-to-5" jobs to each other.

They can help each other and if the person they referred the job to - gets the job, they earn a significant cash reward. You can visit our current landing page which is www.ureferjobs.com.

It is really important to us that there is a very light, young, modern, friendly, caring, fresh feel to the website (it is about helping each other). The dashboard is a critical part to this. Use your own interpretation for icons (not necessarily hearts) etc.

Our font is proxima nova soft and our base colour is : "#f15e4b".

Our UX designer has created a good mock up of what we are looking for - you can see the document Dashboard V3. Dashboard V3 Detail shows how one aspect of the dashboard works (just the email someone space).

On the dashboard - you will be able to see,
(1) the menu bar at the top, the search bar at the left,
(2) the jobs referred to you, your applications,
(3) a little count bar of number of successful referrals you have made (referrals sent / success referrals this month) and referrals (referrals received / pending referrals) you have not acted on
(4) People you may know section*
(5) Email and tell someone about Ureferjobs
(6) New jobs in your network

In (2) - jobs referred to you - you should be able to see a clear progress bar on how referrals have gone. You can see the bar of completion moving further and further down the line.

We also had a jnr UI person do some work - I have attached it but we are looking for more sophisticated work. This is Ureferjobs Dashboard Mockup_BackColour_Panels

Please also note - we would like you to present vector graphics. Work in illustrator.

  (6) "Tell Someone about us" - please look a the
  "Dashboard Detail V3" - explains how the email will work
  (7) The different referrals - it could be clearer because for example - it is not clear whether arrows are for the profile above or below
  (8) Your applications does not seem clickable
  (9) Please do not use different shades of orange - it does go with the brand colours - perhaps grey is better

Hey, I can't find a free version of proxima nova, I will be making the mockup using open sans and ek mukta, we can easily switch to proxima later. :)
