It took me awhile to decide but I am awarding #21 third entry because I love the pattern art in the letters of the reverse R and P. Thank you everyone for entering!

#24 is a nice shirt design for kids with the paws etc... For the spec of this contest though it does not incorporate enough animal pattern and earth elements.

#22 I think it's good for a girl's shirt ages 7-11 years old, except the red panda is very fat and porky and doesn't look as agile and cute as the real animal which affected my decision. It seems you took the fat panda bear look and tried to just translated it onto the red panda which is a sleeker fox animal that climbs trees and whatnot.

#17 first entry, #21 second entry are tied for the lead. #21's is interesting as I didn't think of just using the RP then Red Panda spelled out - I think it looks good. The red color part does not factor into my decision on #21 and is in fact against the design specs. The pattern and typography is good though and that is what I am judging on.

For clarification I like #13 night version much better than day because of the negative space art and general feel

Thank you so much for all your valuable feedback. It would make sense as the information available for the red panda says it is mostly active between dusk and dawn. I will upload a later and updated version a little later, hopefully before the deadline today :-)

@veroshka - Very cool design I really like it, but the red panda is not a panda bear. Google the term "red panda" it is a small fox-like creature. We are spreading awareness one person at time.

@RPWA, what a beautiful little animal. Apologies, I should have googled before I did the design. I see that WP describes it as " lesser panda, red bear-cat and red cat-bear".

For the record I think #3, second version can easily be outdone with some more creative art and feminine font styles.

If you make another version to try and out-do yourself please implement the reverse R this round so everyone is on the same page.

I am hoping there is a new entry gets to the next level, it is hard to say how as I have ran out of direction, just looking for something that is eye catching and clean enough to wear on a t-shirt

It is tied up between #3 second entry, #13 first entry, and #12.... it really feels like the lead is up for grabs these are following directions well, but the only fun and wearable t-shirt I see is #13 first entry which funny enough, showcases the wrong animal. There is no leader at this point.

[ Posting this again so it is easily found on the thread ] The leader is #3, her second version. It clearly shows the RED PANDA letters and incorporates nature. Although the font does look too much like a newspaper headline and not feminine enough. #7 relies too heavily on the globe behind the letters and does not use the letters themselves for the art design. #2 as well the letters are not feminine and places art on top of the letters instead of trying to use the letters themselves. #5 Can barely read RED PANDA and relies too heavily on the globe instead of incorporating feminine font and art into the letters themselves. #4 I can actually read RED PANDA and PANDA has a little bit of art going on, still relies heavily on the globe image. #8 would be a decent design for a young girl's shirt, but I am targeting women.

@venug381 Stay cool, if you read earlier in the thread the 4 star was posted before I updated the brief to say the reverse R and I told the contestant it was fine to leave it that way as I can imagine it with a reverse R. If you think that minor detail is stopping you from winning, that is on you.

Also for #7 is that an assault rifle in the woman's hands? I don't think a person's silhouette should be on the shirt, and a militant look is not what we are going for. Still 3 stars for creativity though.

Very cool first entries for #1, seeing what other ones come up. Only critique for #1 is the first version displayed has the water dripping down that looks out of place compared to the crispness of the rest of the design and maybe too much like it could be blood or something conceived as negative. Otherwise good stuff.

I would wait for more entries I do not think that changing the water or the R will matter I get the general concept enough to see it with the minor changes.

Yes the print will be just white. You will not be able to use any other colors. You are going to have to use outlines and negative space to get the effects you want. The print patterns will have to be recognizable by their shape/outline.
