Help us design a tennis team shirt! We are an LGBT tennis team based in San Francisco that plays in an annual tennis competition against our counterparts in San Diego and Los Angeles. We are looking for a couple of really cool designs to print on high quality (American Apparel or Uniqlo) crew or vnecks!

If I were to sum up in one sentence what we are looking for:
A design that’s appropriate for a sporting team, but also looks really, really good off the court.

OK, in more than one sentence…
I think the typical sports team shirt is awful: It’s extremely literal/functional, has a ton of logos and decals splashed all over the place, and is printed on cheap (Hanes) material. We don’t want that! We want something that you’d actually want to wear off the court. So that doesn’t mean be boring. Be fun. Be creative. Be classy. (Oh, and we aren’t afraid of color, but then again, no garish rainbows, please!)

Please incorporate or consider using one or more of the following items either in initials (more subtle), wording, or images. Good design will trump cramming in all those items, but if you can, great. It is an event shirt after all!

San Francisco (or SF related like cable car, Transamerica, Lombard St, etc.)
Tennis (tennis ball, racket, court, player)
Cal Cup (the name of the competition)

To keep print cost down, please design using 2 to 3 colors and design file must be sent to us in “vector” format (Adobe Illustrator format preferred, but any vector format will do).
