I would like to design a logo for "The Emirates Opera Project"
I would like the logo to be simple and classy with no frills. It could be as simple as really great looking font all in Caps. I have uploaded a couple of logos that I like that should direct you in your thought process. It would be good if the logo included an emblem which could basically a fusion of the first letters of each word in the Emirates Opera Project. i.e. E.O.P.
We could try to infuse with that a symbol of the Emirates. (burj Khalifia, Burj Al Arab) similar to the Sydney opera house logo.
About The Emirates Opera Project information:
The Emirates Opera Project is a collaborative group of opera singers living in the United Arab Emirates, who want to deliver locally produced musical productions of high standard.
The project consists of a group of musicians who meet regularly to perform together, to share ideas, and to search for talent in the UAE to join the group and continue to strive to achieve operatic performances to a professional standard.
Some of the members of the group are professional musicians while others work in other fields, but are involved with the group due to their love of music.

I would just like to make it clear that it is copywrigh infringement to use another logo. I.e. Using the Emirates Airlines Logo. It's not clever.
