I need to have a logo developed for a company named - Solidarity Run. The tagline will be - Who Do You Run For?

Solidarity Run is a company that will allow runners to show their solidarity for a specific cause that is important to them, whether an individual (perhaps someone with cancer), or a group (a charity), or because of an event that touched them (ie The Boston Marathon Bombings).

I do not want to specify what the logo should look like because I want to see your creativity, but I am looking for something with symbolism that focuses on the keywords:

Solidarity - unity or agreement of feeling or action, esp. among individuals with a common interest; mutual support within a group.

Running / multiple runners - maybe a hand or several hands holding a torch. Just one idea....use your creativity.

I VERY MUCH like the idea of having multiple runners, or multiple hands,somehow symbolizing SOLIDARITY - doing something together for a common purpose. Of the logos I have seen so far, I like the ones best that have either multiple runners or a male & female running figure.

I am more interested in something simple and clean as opposed to busy.

For colors, I want this to be something that can be printed on shirts, and other items. It should look good in white on a colored background, and for the color of the logo itself, I like the blue and gold in the attached image.
