Contest Brief

I need a logo designed for a psychology practice named "Lake Hills Psychological Services". Please note the following for design ideas:

1. Use colors that coordinate with the color scheme in the attached file.

2. "Lake Hills" is an area near Austin, TX. The area is known as the "Hill Country" because of the hills, and it is also known for it's lakes (Lake Travis). Since you may want to incorporate this into a logo, I have attached two photos of the area for inspiration.

3. I do not want the logo to be too literal with a focus on psychology (if you Google images of psychology, then you'll see a lot of pictures of heads and brains. I don't want that).

I have noticed that many of the logos feature mountain peaks (some even have snow caps). The hills in the area have more rounded tops, and they don't have pointy peaks like Mountain ranges (and it rarely snows in the area), so those logos don't fit the area.
