Contest Brief

Hello,

I am looking for a logo for our annual staff event. This year the theme is 'A Night at the Oscars'.

We need a logo which will be used on our event website, in print on our invitations, evening agenda hand-outs, projected onto a large LCD screen, on video content and in large format print for signage on the night.

We are inspired by the glamorous black and gold theme of the real Oscars event and would like to stick with this colour theme. Because the logo will be used in so many formats it should not have too many elements - simplicity and striking design will be key.

Specific requirements:
- include the words 'A Night at the Oscars' as well as an image or illustration of some kind
- usable in portrait and landscape
- supplied as jpegs and original design files (Photoshop or Indesign preferred)
- full colour and in white for printing on colour

Attached are examples of recent Oscars artwork - we like this but are also open to other ideas.

There will definitely be a winner of the logo competition and there is potential for extension of the project to include the additional collateral discussed above (to be confirmed).
