We are an amateur musical theatre company based in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. We are investigating changing both our name and logo. Our name will likely change to: Hills Musical Theatre Company.

We put on amateur musical theatre shows in the Hills District, and our logo should be simple but reflect these interests. We want something modern and eye-catching, but also something simple that we can derivate with for smaller print publications, as well as large posters, etc.

We currently have a round logo, which is becoming dated. We would prefer a square or rectangular based logo to allow for easier positioning on our promotional material. I've attached a copy of our current logo for reference only.

The logo should be:
- very simple
- contain the words 'Hills Musical Theatre Company'
- use black and white, or at most one or two colours, which, if rendered in black and white, would appear as lighter shades of grey.

The winner may be asked to provide different versions of the logo, including trimmed down versions, through another Freelancer project.
