Contest Brief

I require a logo for an online retail and wholesale business that I am starting up. The business is to be launched in the USA initially but will roll out to other markets such as UK, South Africa, etc. I am expecting to be wholesaling and retailing consumer products such as consumer electronics (cameras, tablets, etc), cookware, etc. I plan to source products directly from manufacturers, wholesalers and liquidation sales (new and refurbished only). I plan to differentiate myself through low pricing for high priced consumer products. My average product price is probably in the region of $300 but I plan to offer the best price through managing overheads. The customers that I am looking to appeal to are above average earning individuals, typical profesional, aged around 30 - 48 years, who enjoy a digital lifestyle and trust global brands. I would like customers to be able to trust me - trust my service, honesty and price competitiveness.
The name Zohan does not have any meaning - it is a combination of a name and surname. We expect that our largest proportion of sales will be in the area of photography - high end DSLR cameras and lenses. Domain is myzohan.com and company name is Zohan.

The 2 key values for us is (1) to build trust (2) to offer the most or at least amongst the most competitive prices in the market.

    In terms of colour, I have not yet finalised. The colours that I would consider are those that achieve the needs - trust, good price, appeals to age group and wealth profile of target market. I plan on commencing website design shortly and I guess we will need to synchronise. I shall try to scan the internet for some logo design ideas and share.
