A new cafe/restaurant in Subiaco, Western Australia named "Monty's". The logo required is "Monty's" or "Monty's Restaurant".

We have purchased a café business named New Oriel (formerly Oriel) which is a tired and dated poor quality restaurant. The existing restaurant will soon be gutted and a new interior and exterior refurbishment undertaken.

The restaurant will open 7am - 10 pm, with café style dining during the day as well as coffee/café style service, particularly in mornings and afternoons to keep the restaurant active outside of breakfast and lunch sessions. at night time the café emphasis will shift to a slightly more formal restaurant operation, with the introduction of a wider menu, softer lighting, louder music.

after reopening in (say) 6 months time we intend to have the restaurant licensed to operate as a bar as well as a restaurant. The restaurant is located nearby to a busy football stadium so once per week during winter there will be a g drinking crowd to attract.

the concept is for a fun, value for money place, definitely not silver service. To that end there will be lots of shared plate options, salads from a counter display and lots of specials. Both for lunch and dinner, gourmet burgers will be included in menu to attract customers away from local gourmet burger places (as we are licensed to sell alcohol). Menu emphasis at night will be ribs.

So concept is trying to be all things to all people, from breakfast and morning coffee crowd through to dinners and football beer drinkers. So need a concept that is not too stiff and can accommodate all those people.

This brief is for a logo, but will lead to all of the design related to menus, packaging, possibly website and so on.

looking now for a logo "Monty's" and "Monty's Restaurant".
