Hello all. This contest is for designing a logo for Just Eco Tech Ltd., a new joint venture company in automotive equipment business (garage equipment).

Attached designer brief document describes the requirements to design a logo and related corporate stationery which would reflect the nature of the business of the new JV as a provider of high-tech equipment for the car services market.

to ALL... you don't have to include the letters "Ltd." in your logo; you may or may not use it in your logo, depends on what you think works best; I personally think that "Ltd." should not be part of the logo, but am open to any ideas

Hello everyone. Very productive week, lots of good, creative entries, thanks for your submissions! Just wanted to share a few guidance points with you:
- Don't feel obliged to use the "Ltd." in the logo itself, it might work better with simple "Just Eco Tech" (no "Ltd." at the end);
- Try to express both "high-tech" and "environmental" / "ecology" concepts in your designs;
- Don't forget to ensure your logo "works" in both colour and black-and-white variants;

I like your thinking about using a tie as the tick mark... there is something in it, adds a business-like feel to the logo; I am not sure about using the off-the-shelf car profile to the logo, these usually go out of fashion very quickly and also, every home-made so-called "logos" use it, so I suggest you ditch it

  hi mydZnecoz, there are different opinions regarding "open" vs "close" contest; I experimented with both and I found the close contests to be less imaginative and less competitive, just my personal opinion; so we will keep this contest open for now, but thanks for your suggestion

  Hey there. The design brief indicated that the word "Just" and "the tick mark" should be included in the new design while maintaining a "continuity" between the old and new logo. However, in the comment above, you wrote that it should appear "exactly" as the original. Could you please clarify this? Thanks.

  good point! for clarification, the word "exactly" is probably too strong, but there should be a strong resemblance between the tick mark + the word "just" in the old/original logo and the new logo... people who see the new logo should immediately think "I know this tick mark from the old Just MOT's logo!" and should make the connection in their minds; thanks for bringing this up, quillforhire, good thinking
