Contest Brief

I need a logo for my website, the Informed Futurist (http://www.informedfuturist.com/). The Informed Futurist is dedicated to analyzing trends that could impact the future of humanity and promoting the breakthroughs that will lead to an ideal future. For example, we have explored how self driving cars and 3D printing could change society forever. Other areas that we will focus on are robotics, biotechnology, and much more. Here is some more information about the Informed Futurist (http://www.informedfuturist.com/about/).

For the logo, I am thinking about something fairly simple. It should be sleek, streamlined, and modern. The company focuses on modern technology, and I would like to demonstrate that with the logo. It would be great if you could somehow combine the “I” and “F” from Informed Futurist into an icon next to the word Informed Futurist. This is kind of a play on “if”, like “what if” something happened. But, I am open to your suggestions for other ideas.

The colors that I would like to use are blue and grey, staying with the look of the current website. On the site (http://www.informedfuturist.com/), the text in the top left navigation that says “Informed Futurist” will be replaced with whatever logo you make. The logo will also be used in a variety of other places.
