Contest Brief

I need a logo for my hiking and food blog, theringers.co. We're currently refining the look of our website, but the general layout is set for the logo to go in the upper left corner of the blog, to the left of the title and tagline. I am based in the Pacific Northwest, and I would like to incorporate mountains and evergreens in the logo. Other optional elements to incorporate are a tent, a campfire, or water (such as a stream, lake, or waterfall). The blog's design is simple and clean, and the logo should match. As for colors, I would like for the logo to be black and white or gray and white. Simplicity is key.

I would also like the logo to be easily adapted for use as a stamp or letterpress image in the future.

I've included a few samples of logos to use as inspiration. All are simple, rustic, and give off that "outdoorsy" vibe.
