Contest Brief

The official name of for the logo is: Goldminer's Link (can also be written as Goldminers Link without the apostrophe)

This is a community / directory resource for those engaged in the activity of Gold Mining. This could be prospectors, claim owners, investors, gold seekers, fortune hunters, of all sorts: Amateurs to Experts. Above all else the logo should pop, and probably needs to be consider with and without a backdrop. There are places where it may be overlay over a photo; while in other instances we may just have the logo itself. Please keep your AI files nice and organized.

A mascot, such as a prospector would be great. This is NOT to be taken overly serious -- would rather have something that stands out and is fun for people -- Leaving a memorable impression.
