Contest Brief

Gaming.Rocks
is an upcoming video game community currently under development. Our key features are social networking, forums, news and reviews hub, live streaming, guides, tournaments and contests.

Design must include a logotype and a symbol. We prefer that logotype fits in a rectangle and symbol alone in a square.

The personality must be appealing to gamers in general. We are looking for a daring, modern, hi-tech feeling and minimal. I emphasize, not sci-fi or fantasy.

There are no preferred colors or fonts. Anything that would fit in the above description is fine.

Examples:
Logos I like: IGN, Steam, Google+, OnWine, Blue Elephant, Elena Alexeeva, Martini House, Spartan Golf Club
Logos I dislike: PC Gamer, Gamespot, Kotaku, GameFAQs, mmorpg.com, joystiq, gamesradar, N4G
