Hi everyone. This should be a fun project for you designers who love to just explore your ideas.

Client: fresh2code
Identity: I don't have one. Really, I just like the way fresh2code looks in lower case. Simple and to the point.
What we do: Well...a little bit of everything. Oddly though, we hardly ever do static websites.

What we'd like in a logo:
1) Clearly unique and clearly indentifiable.
2) we'd love to see something that incorporates code, but really, we don't know what we'll like. It's just wide open.
3) the word fresh in our name. It means fresh as in "I got a good nights sleep, and I'm fresh. Ready to work, ready to code"

We're looking for 1 winner, but if there is a tie or we like another graphic we'll contact you with an offer to purchase it.

RULES:
Keep the Clarification board for just that, for asking questions about the contest.
DO NOT POST AND ASK FOR A REVIEW OR YOUR SUBMISSION.
All logos will be rated as we have time. We are busy and this is a back burner project. Just wanted to give something for you all to have fun with in August.

  No color requirements. Slogan doesn't have to be included, but would be nice, or submit two versions.

  Yes, taste is a very difficult thing to gauge, and grading entries is also difficult because it is a matter of taste. Here's some guidelines:
  1. Simple, clean (not too busy), but not just text. We like how simple the letters "fresh2code" are, but if that was good enough, we wouldn't have hosted this contest.
  2. Logos that are vector are better than non-vector.
  3. Something that is easily recognizable are also good, like a logo formed with the initials "F2C"
  4. No silly faces, or funny looking characters. Our slogan is Mature Solutions For Real Problems, so something that's caricature like will not really bode well.
  5. Use of colors is good, but keep in mind our name is "fresh2code", not graphic, fast.
  6. the use of the word fresh represents a good night sleep, and feeling fresh to go to work, in this case, fresh2code.
