Design a Logo for FLIXEO video messaging app.

Contest Brief

Design a brand logo for a very popular social video messaging app and website. FLIXEO.COM. (Similar to Vine and SnapChat)

FLIXEO will be a video messaging platform for Social Networks which will allow members to send or post short 10 to 31 SECOND videos on their websites, blogs or post them to auction sales websites. There will also be an APP that will allow for mobile video messages.

Using our FLIXEO app or website widgets, members will also be able to send their friends short video messages worldwide via text or via the APP.

The logo must include ans App icon to allow for seamless transition through all platforms. The logo must contain the phrase FLIXEO and we prefer you use CAPITAL LETTERS; Winning designs MUST include vector files.

You may incorporate a SYMBOL/GRAPHIC and even better, if you create an ingenious TAGLINE and use it somehow in the logo as well.

This logo design must be custom created from scratch with and PLEASE, NO EXTERNAL CLIP-ART GRAPHICS.

The most creative entry will be awarded the prize. IF MORE THAN ONE IS CHOSEN, then each will get the same total prize amount.

DO's and DON'Ts

DO use ALL CAPS.
DO create a timeless logo that can withstand the ages.
Do invent a brand, a signature and bring it to life!

DON'T use lowercase letters.
DON'T use the PLAY button triangle for the O.
DON'T use CLIPART or borrow graphics from anywhere.
DON'T copy FLIX logo. Google it.

Business Cards
Huge Banners
Mobile Icon Compatible
Facebook/Twitter Ready
SOME IDEAS WE WOULD LIKE TO SEE OR NOT IN THE DESIGN.
1. Add a catchy tag line and we will judge the logo and tagline separately.
2. A variation of the X can be made into a 2 person graphic.
3. Don't be afraid to use nice colors.
4. Do not use the play button triangle for the O.
5. Don't throw some graphic and just type FLIXEO under it, we would like FLIXEO to be part of the graphic.
6. We are creating a BRAND, lets not be afraid to use COLORS.
7. Please be creative in your submissions and read other comments left.
8. Make FLIXEO the graphic and make it stand out not black boring text.
9. We like Google type colorful logos, try it with FLIXEO.
10. Make the logo stand out and keep it COOL and FRESH.

WHY NOT SEALED?
I would prefer not to because it hinders progress and when I leave feedback for some designers, other designers do not know what I am looking for. Inspirational ideas can be maximized and increased exponentially when everyone can see other designs. I believe in being inspired by another design and Freelancer acknowledges "inspiration" designs as long as it is not a flagrant copy of someone elses design. Thanks.

    CONGRATULATIONS TO THE WINNER. We chose this design because as No.2 in our request stated, "A variation of the X can be made into a 2 person graphic" and it was done in a such an ingenious way and it is a much thicker logo, also because this new SYMBOL will be used to represent the company.     Wow look at all the NEW designs coming out all of a sudden. It seems like some designers are like SNIPERS, they wait for the last day and snipe the whole contest and turn it into a rumble to the end. WE LOVE IT.     I have added 3 more days and added $34 more to the contest to give freelancers some time to make some adjustments on their final designs. Also because I prefer it to end on a weekend so that we have better time to focus on our final designs. I will not extend again after Sunday. Thank you all again for your hard work and good luck!

    Formula01 #65 I have tried contacting you to no avail, and when we click your name it errors out and says "Error... This user has no entries". Please update your logo as requested in the quick view as we would like to see it with a small or larger "crowd" of people.       Turns out Formula01 has withdrawn his submissions, boy talk about bad timing for him. This concept is open to anyone else who would like to expound on this idea of a PERSON in the middle of the LOGO, as if they were on a stage saying look at me I'm a star. Please have it look more human than a cartoon or character. Thanks for your time.
