Contest Brief

A new website will be launching soon entitled Ding Dong Diary.

Every individual in the modern world requires some form of organiser to enable them to manage their time effectively ensuring they do not miss important appointments, anniversaries or celebrations in their lives. Whether this is an organiser controlled by the individual themselves or on their behalf (for example babies or young children) the requirement still remains, from both a social and work related perspective.

Resources such as property and services that need to be managed in terms of their availability in order to maximise revenue and minimise idleness all require a clear picture on when they are available and when they are occupied, either from a personal or business perspective.

A logo is required to encapsulate this concept. It can be fun (ideas have been of a cartoon bell), or it can be more corporate (something around the idea of three interconnecting "D"s) in a similar vein to the "S" in Skype.

There is a potential for this to become a longer term engagement as we will also require a designer to skin the Microsoft MVC5 website in the future.

Can I just say that if I am awarding £250 for this, I don't expect it to have been knocked up in 5 minutes - £20 yes, but for £250 I am expecting a bit of thought and effort to go into it and also a bit of feedback into how this logo would integrate with the site in general. You have a blank slate here people.

I am looking for ideas from talented designers who can work with me past just designing a logo. I am technical and can write code, but I cannot make things look good. Even if I could, it wouldn't be good enough as I want people to come to my site and immediately think "wow".
