I am starting a freelance business and need a logo that gives the impression of an established, professional and trustworthy company. I will be creating mobile websites for local businesses, but graphic design is not my specialty. Therefore, if you win this contest (or not, but still produce good work) I may commission you directly for future client's projects. And if my freelance business becomes successful, I may found a company under the same name (Cosmobi) and perhaps offer you more regular assignments. Unfortunately as I am just starting and have not acquired clients yet, my budget is currently tight.

I have registered cosmobi.com so if your design vision includes the ".com" or not, that's up to you. I would consider either direction depending on how it looks, but if the ".com" is not used as part of the logo then it will have more versatile use. So my preference is not to include the ".com" in the logo, but that is not a requirement because your design with “.com” may change my mind. PLEASE NOTE: Cosmobi is the combination of "cosmo" (or cosmos) and "mobi" (or mobile). So a logo design may make use of this concept by overlapping (the “mo” of) those two words and by using the idea of the cosmos in the logo concept. For example, the two "o" letters could be planets connected by a gravitational ring. Feel free to let your own imagination run wild.

Nonetheless, I want the design to be clean and to some degree minimalistic. I do not want it to look too busy with too many elements or colors. The name (Cosmobi) needs to be clear. I am open to the color scheme but I need the end product delivered with a transparent background in PNG format as well as in its original format (PSD or PXD or whatever program you use that saved the file natively) with all it's layers separately accessible. You are welcome to submit more than one idea and to reuse your finished product(s) within your personal portfolio for future clients. I sincerely thank you for your help at this early stage as I try to get started with my own freelance work. Good luck and have fun!

UPDATE #1: Ok, I've seen enough globes! Those are okay but I would like to see more creativity.Please do NOT use CM as for I don't want to abbreviate the company name like that. Also, please do NOT use old/overused motif designs like the cellular/wifi signal strength indicator or a mirror/reflection underneath as if it's sitting on a skinny glass table. Those design elements were fresh like 10 years ago and today make the logo look old and dated from the start. It supposed to be new and modern! For example, don't use a phone icon with an antenna because those are a throwback to old phones (instead maybe use some generic-looking app icons). Lastly, blue and grey go nicely with each other, but I am sure there are other nice complementing color combinations (there are so many blue web company logos that the color doesn't pop anymore). I want it to look good against a white background. And one more suggestion: if you're going to create something that has a 45 degree angle, the right side should be higher than the left to create the impression of forward/upward direction (like a stock price increasing) like this " / ". It's not good to have something in a logo that's pointing downward. I hope these suggestions help. I appreciate everyone's participation in this content. The payment is now guaranteed! UPDATE #2: I've uploaded a color scheme. This is JUST a suggestion, but I would like to see how these colors look together for this logo. Feel free to take the artistic liberties to change the shades. Once again, it's just a suggestion. I'm keeping an open mind. When I get the files from the winner, I should be able to change the colors myself, but it would be nice to see a mock-up of these colors ahead of time. Thanks!

We're in the final stretch and the finish line is near. So far, eltorozzz is in the lead and about to break through the ribbon. This graphic designer has a strong lead and isn't showing signs of slowing down. Even though the race is not over yet, it's starting to look like no one else is able to take the lead. However, I want to thank everyone for participating. I appreciated every entry and wish you all the best.
