Konkurrence Instruktioner

Need a logo for my website 8by10prints.com. This is a site where people will buy and sell fine art prints. Looking for something sharp and professional. Impactful but not overpowering. Would love for it to be cohesive, like an emblem or graphic symbol but with a little bit of texture or subtlety. Some depth or a 3D feel might be good. Something that catches the eye, but that doesn't wear on you or annoy over time.

Logo will appear in the upper left corner of the page against a dark brown header; the panel below the logo fades from orange to dark brown. As you can see the color scheme is orange, dark brown and white.

The only text involved should be: “8by10prints” – lowercase letters, no spaces. You could put it on one line, or stack it with “8by10” on top and “prints” underneath. Some possible imagery to work in: a home printer (inkjet), rectangles (as in sheets of paper), or frames. Possibly also a computer mouse or pointer (white glove).

The current logo PNG has a width to height ratio of 6:1, but you don't have to stay within those confines. Yours could be more of a circle or square or irregular shape, and can overhang the slide panel below. Please see attached PDF.

Final product should be a PNG or JPG file no less than 100 pixels in height. I will scale it down as needed. I would also like the original drawing such as PSD.

UPDATE: I've concluded that the logo really needs to have the image of a printer in it. Sheets of paper would also be good but not as critical as the printer.

    Looking for something that's very different from what's on the site now. Something more like an emblem, a badge or a graphic symbol. Where the graphic design/imagery is just as prominent as the text. Preferably intertwined and interwoven.

      I appreciate that you were playing around with a tessellated grid of triangles, tessellations are fun. But if I focus on the orange I see a "6y", and if I focus on the white I see a pizza slice and maybe a lacrosse stick...
