Contest Brief

We're looking for a design for our dog daycare, Barklyn Heights. We would like to use a color palette similar to the banner we created (in the attachments), of a dark blue and light green, and we're also open to incorporating white and a light-to-medium gray.

One idea for a design that we'd like to see would be similar to the shoddy hand-drawn one attached, with a simple, fun, cartoonish outline of both of our dogs' heads incorporated into the logo. We attached a couple pictures of the dogs as well. Obviously we are open to anything - not trying to pigeonhole your creative process - just trying to give you a feel for some things we would be interested in.

Also, wanted to comment, that if you need any mockup with your logo, like a t-shirt or on wood engraved, I could also provide them, it is a simple thing to do. Dear CH, please take a look at entries #31 and #32 . I see that there are some entires that are not cartoonish style, would you like me to upload a logo without the cartoon style and instead use a linear copy of the pictures? I can also do that, but I think it is not so original and fun though. Please advise.

  We love the cartoon style you drew up! Honestly we're not sold on the direction we want to go yet - that's part of the fun of doing this contest for us. We are very very interested in a fun logo like yours. We're also interested in some of the others that have a little more of a professional look to them. If you can draw a logo up that captures the fun essence of your cartoons but also has a more-polished look to it, please submit it as well! But regardless, the cartoon logo you did is definitely one of the top on our list right now.

  Both mutts... The big one is an Akita/German Shepherd, and the little guy is a Black Lab/Beagle mix
