I need a logo for an amazing 600-mile offroad motorcycle ride through the forested Black Hills of South Dakota. You can see our current website here: dakota600.com

The existing logo has some nice old-west elements but doesn't have any motorcycle elements. I'd like to update the design to include both old west and offroad motorcycle elements, and I want it to appeal to offroad motorcycle riders (typically 30-60 year old upper-income men). The logo should be flexible enough to use on:
* Websites
* Printed jerseys
* Embroidered hats
I need a black and white version, and a color version (no more than three colors) that can be used for embroidery and printed jerseys. I like red, black, and tan - but will leave the colors up to you. You don't need to match the green and orange on the website - we'll change those to be consistent with the logo.

Here are a few examples of others:
* www.facebook.com/Colorado500 - this is a nice logo because it has a few different colors and looks good on hats and jerseys
* Search google images for: Victory motorcycle logo, Indian motorcycle logo

You do not understand how licensing works, we are not reseling the product we are using it and seling art. If we were to sell the product we got to use under licence itself that would require commercal licence. If we tried to trademark the product we got a licence to use that would not be allowed. Let me explain it this way, if we bought tires for a car to use, and tried selling them instead that would not be legal. But if we put the tires on a car and sell the car that is legal. Do you understand now. You are wrong. Simply.

  You have compared two different things that don't have any kind of connection regarding the industry or the license... sorry but that its very naive
  You are wrong. Simply because you don't understand 1. Standard license and 2.Commercial license
  1.Standard license - personal use - you have "bought it" ( but i know you've downloaded illegally anyway) and you can use it for personal work that's OK and someone has sell it to you and gives you permission to put in in your artwork NOT Resell it to someone else as your own work!!
  2. Commercial use - which probably you don't have rights ( costs over 250$)

The logo should not include Victory or Indian logos - those are just logos in the same industry that you can use for inspiration!
