This is sunglasses made out of real wood. The frame is 100% wooden, and it can be bamboo, redwood, oak, pretty much any kind of wood. The lenses are just like any other lenses and the shape and size of the wooden sunglasses are the same as your regular plastic sunglasses.

With the use of renewable resources, our wooden sunglasses make a true fashion statement which pops our among the rest. Redwoods is where the rural outdoor culture of sunny California meets urban modern trendy New York.

We want the logo to be (laser) printable (siluette printed on wood) on the sunglasses as well as work in online media. Note that it doesn't necessarily have to be the Exact same details in the printable version as the online version.
We want the logo to reflect the brand values.
We want the logo to reflect an "upper to mid-level" brand, i.e. classy but it can be clever and fun as well. It is important that the logo is Memorable.
Be creative with shapes and colors but keep it simple and classy.

We LOVE #210 for it's Dynamic Letterpress icon. Another example of this can be found here: http://www.designbolts.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/Dynamic-letterpress-logos.jpg

Think a clean font together with an icon (as mentioned in previous post) made with dynamic letterpress technique and maybe a touch of "natures softness" somewhere/somehow in the font.

Hi everyone!

Our latest thoughts: A logo with no hand-writing font, that contains something iconic like the woodpecker in #172 or the owl in #208 . We want to be able to put the icon (and icon only) on the outer side of the sunglasses, and then the whole name or webadress on the inside. And maybe also only be able to put RW on the side. We also like the upper part of #106 , the retro style of #132 and rawness of #130.

Here are some things that we like:

The axe in #95 ("american lumberjack" style)
The tree in #130 ("strict but still nature" style)
The leaves in #100 ("very clean but very organic" style)

If the "accessories" Around the text is playfully inspired by nature, the font might be a bit stricter. But if the accessories are stricter / not there, the font might be more playful. At this point I think we prefer the first.

Some of you make logos in contexts such as printed on an actual pair of glasses, in a website context etc, for us to be able to see - SMART. Keep that coming :)

I have eliminated some designs to make it easier for you to see what we are looking for in the logo. Please also note the onces we have Scored High; this means we like those design! Some of you obviously have great skills but might still get a low score or get eliminated, this only means we are not looking for that kind of specific design that you provided.

There is a challenge in making it look modern but NOT futuristic, nature like / friendly but NOT handwritten or too much going on, and try to stay away from fonts associating with football teams etc.

Also, we are (Probably) NOT looking for a logo that incorporates a pair of sunglasses, IF this is not made with exceptional cleverness and style.
