We are developing a service to help people to register for emergency alert services.

These are services that are provided to citizens to alert them to emergencies in a local community. The alerts are sent by local public safety agencies (police, sheriff, 911 centers). The alerts are sent by telephone call, text message and email. The alerts are about weather, fires, environmental and other emergencies and advise citizens to take action to protect themselves.

The service we are providing will be called the US National Emergency Alert Registry and will use the website USNEAR.com. We will ask people to enter their mobile phone number, address and other personal information and also the numbers and names of their children. There is no cost for the service.

We will be registering people for services provided by companies such as Codered (Emergency Communication Network), Everbridge, Nixle, and Cassidian. You should look at their websites to understand the services they are offering.

We need a logo that makes the service look official and legitimate. This is a service related to law enforcement agencies. Since we are asking people to enter their phone number and address, the logo needs to look very professional.
