Hello friends

I am looking for some great ideas for a logo for my company LookUpClubs.com - a social networking website that is at the forefront of the "Look Up Movement". The Look-Up Movement encourages people to look up from their mobile phones, tablets and computers and get back to living and enjoying life off-line by interacting with the people and environment around them. Our motto is "Isn't It Time for You to Look Up and Start Living?".

The second aspect of the site - the social aspect - revolves around the creation of groups or clubs. This focus on the group instead of on the individual is the hallmark of the site. On other social sites, you have your personal page that includes your details, your photos, your interests, etc. - whereas on LookUpClubs.com will focus instead on group pages and activities. There is no secret that current social networks with all that they offer in terms of options, games, etc. are meant to keep your eyes glued to that screen and sadly this takes a huge toll on our humanity as we have less and less REAL interpersonal contact.

The logo design should visually incorporate elements related to these ideas in a clear and original manner.

I always participate heavily in my contests so I will do my best to outline the designs I like best and respond to your questions multiple times a day. If you have questions, please ask I will try to guide you. But otherwise let your creativity flow and show me your best and most original designs!

So there is NO CONFUSION - I will not award any designer the contest until I am very happy with a design and you will know that. Please don't ask me privately to award you as I will not do so.

Do you have any preferred colors or pieces that must be integrated into the logo?

  Hi Masmit! I used to live in SC so welcome fellow southerner :-) What I'm really looking for is something iconic - a symbol/icon that can alone represent the company that should be incorporated into the logo text that you're now working on. I like the idea of having the UP elevated but like your initial idea of having the motto on a straight line. The font is ok but not catchy enough. Hope this helps and I look forward to seeing your up-coming ideas!
