The company/product I am developing is a tool for law enforcement. The name of the product is the "XHAUSTR" and the company would be "XHAUSTR Industries".

I want a logo that looks streamlined, professional, and somewhat tactical looking. I like the look of retro logos.

Here's another thought (the elegant custom tailoring logo)...something like this, but instead of needs and thread, exhaust pipe and exhaust...and something to replace the guy. http://graphicd-signs.com/vintage-logo-design-examples/

Thank you for the works presented so far...here are some thoughts for clarification. I would like to see the logo incorporated into a box (or shape of a police patch) like this: http://logopond.com/gallery/detail/127472. If it would be possible to some how incorporate an exhaust pipe/muffler into the logo (without it being the main focus).
