Contest Brief

I need a logo designed for a new website and business. The site is called “Administrex” and is a Social Business Network for Professional Administrators – Personal Assistants, Executive Assistants, Office Managers etc. The site will have a range of career related resources, tools to help with daily work, training courses, news etc. It will also have a membership option which will give registered members access to discussion forums and other networking tools.

The logo should either incorporate the word “Administrex” or something symbolic of this, like a stylised letter “A”.

It should have be modern looking, and appeal to a professional female demographic, who are relative technically savvy and represent the themes of professional development and online collaboration.

Target Demographic: Professional women, tech savvy, mid 20s to 50s
Preferred Colours: Blue, Orange, White
Format: jpeg and psd
Use: Transparent background, to be added to the banner of the site, and also at a later date for letterheads, business cards etc.

I’ve attached an initial screengrab of a mockup of the site – note this will change, but it gives you an idea of the preferred styling

Hi folks,

Thanks to everyone for your early entries – I’ve tried to go through all of this first batch and provide feedback to give you all a clearer idea of what I’m looking for. To clarify further it needs to be clean, modern, female friendly, and have a technological look and feel. No dark colour schemes please!

I probably won’t be able to give individual feedback on all pieces, but will make sure I point out any that are really close to what I like, or reject any that I clearly don’t like, to give you all some guidance.
