We require a logo to be designed aimed mainly for use on our website and within PDF documents.

NeoScholar is a soon to launch website which will focus on individual learning, enabling sharing amongst similar minds to create a bigger impact.

The NeoScholar name is built upon:
Neo = New
Scholar = learner (See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scholarly_method for concepts of what a Scholar is and does)
The name embodies that we have many new technologies that allow us to both collect and generate information.

Ideally, I would like the name to be easily readable, use a gothic or medieval letter S for Scholar, and Neo be written in a new modern font.

We intend to use this logo on our website as the main logo, but also require.

This logo should work well on a black background. Most likely, we'll be using a twitter bootstrap black header for our website and this logo needs to display beautifully on that.

The attached PDF has some rough ideas on what it might look like.

Expected deliverables:
*) Image file for use on a twitter bootstrap website
*) Large image file suitable to include in a header within a PDF (e.g. letterhead)

Hi All, as some general feedback, I don't really like scholar hats or people in the logo. I can understand why you chose to do that, however, it's not my personal preference.
