Hello,

I am in the final stages of being ready to launch my exciting new business - Fruition Consulting. I need a brilliant logo.
I have included a lengthy 'Brainstorm' of what encompasses Fruition Consulting below.
I like the idea of working in the old saying the 'Fruit of Your Labour' or something with fruit, as it is Fruition Consulting and I also like the idea of using a gold or golden pear as part of the logo. I already had a go at designing the logo but don't feel it is very easy to understand (the font is Jane Austen's handwriting) or catchy. I have posted this as a file.

Fruition Consulting provides business and writing and editing services for both individuals and businesses.

writing support (which covers a range of things like writing people's resumes, writing policies for companies, writing professional biographies, writing tender submissions for businesses to get government grants and funding etc). I understand that the services offered are broad. I like the idea of incorporating a golden pear in the logo design. I also want to include a 'tagline' in the logo, something to do with fruit and business... Please be creative and clever with your designs. I am looking for a logo that is sleek, sophisticated, clean but not cold and clear but not plain. GOOD LUCK!!

***PLEASE NOTE: Hello designers, just a quick note - I have to head out of town for two days, and so by the time I get home this competition will have just finished, so I won't have the opportunity to give any further advice before the contest closes and I will thereafter choose a winning entry. I must say though, I thought at this stage I would have been awarding four stars, maybe even five stars on entries, and I have only awarded one design three stars and a few others two stars... So I am a little bit disappointed... but I see such creative potential in the entries received so far, so I thought I would take this opportunity to really articulate what I am wanting, to give you guys the best chance of getting it right, coming up with the best logos and winning the contest! Hello everyone, please make sure you thoroughly read the brief for this logo. A lot of what is coming through doesn't seem to be well thought out. I would like sleek, sophisticated, warm, corporate... obviously being Fruition Consulting the gold pear jumped out at me from lots of old stories... and I do like the saying 'Enjoy The Fruit of Your Labour' but I don't think it is a good TAGLINE for a business so I would like to see some more designs incorporating a TAGLING that has something to do with fruit?? I know it seems very challenging!! Also, I provided an example of something I have already done and not 100% happy with so please avoid using similar designs or fonts - I am looking for something clever... creative... and something that instantly makes sense when you look at it AND read the tagline with the logo... hope this helps!! Looking forward to seeing more designs :)

Also, the brief that tells you all about Fruition Consulting should give you more creative ideas - and I liked the idea of incorporating some sort of tag line to do with fruit? Like 'Enjoy the Fruit of Your Labour' but that sounds weird to me, so rewording it somehow... so that it reflects what the business is all about?

Just to let you all know, I will be able to jump on around every 4 hours or so (with the exception of overnight here in Australia) to be able to give feedback, so please be mindful of that. Overall, I am looking for something cohesive, sleek, corporate, but not stark, warm but not childish...

Thank you to those who have entered designs so far. I am looking for a catchy but sleek design. Entrants please ensure you have thoroughly read through the contest brief as I was quite specific about the nature of the company so that can be cleverly incorporated into the logo design. I also like the colour palette of charcoal, gray, olive, gold, ivory and pale olive BUT am also open to other suggestions or colour palettes. The last thing I want to advise is that I quite liked the design that I came up with but FELT THE SCRIPT AND MESSAGE of the logo was not clear enough, so I would steer away from using the 'Jane Austen' script font as obviously I have already tried that.
